Lighten Up Your Vibration During the Ascension Process

Lighten up as much as you can to ease ascension symptoms.

Going through a spiritual awakening process can be challenging for many. A few people are fortunate to simply wake one moment to the peaceful eternal presence of who they are, and stay there. But most of us dip in and out of our true nature, gradually building a reservoir of consciousness until we are ready to live there.

In the meantime, with each step into higher consciousness, we release that which can’t co-exist in this lighter space. All of our limiting beliefs, past pain, karma, unhealthy attachments, control games and other false self perceptions must go. For some this happens gradually, for others it takes them on an accelerated journey of deep purging, releasing, and letting go until nothing is left but the true self.

The ascension process is full of uncomfortable symptoms: fear and anxiety, triggered by the mind as it lets go of its false identity; sadness and depression as relationships, careers and passions fall away; aches and pains as old hurts, conditioning and structures are released from the body. And on and on it goes.

This can create a tremendous sense of loss and loneliness, making us wonder why we signed up for this awakening process in the first place! But when we remember to lighten up our vibration and stay focused on who we really are, we rise above the choppy water and flow more smoothly with the waves of energy guiding us through this ascension process.

Lighten Up Your Vibration With:

Acceptance. When you’re feeling depressed, fearful or achy, you naturally want it to go away. But pushing or resisting it makes it stick and stay longer. Accepting what is in the moment, knowing you are bigger than it, allows you to expand even further into the lightness and spaciousness that you are.

Amusement. Watching a funny movie, reading a humorous cartoon, joking with a fun friend, or whatever it takes to tickle your funny bone will immediately lighten your vibration and raise you up to a higher level of consciousness.

Trust. Trusting the process is the most helpful way navigate this journey. When you know deep within that you are safe, your body can handle the shifts in energy, you are ready for this transformation, and you are one with it, you relax and go with the flow. Trust can happen gradually over time, or you can simply choose to trust no matter what you are experiencing.

Appreciation. Appreciation and gratitude are lovely high vibrations of energy. You can choose to shift your energy into this state by noticing the gifts, support and synchronicity in your life, by loving the people, animals and nature that surround you, and by touching into the vibration of gratitude and letting it flow through your whole body, down into the cells.

Allowing. Allowing the process to unfold will support it to go smoother. This means going beyond your mind’s chatter which wants to view discomfort as a problem which needs to be fixed. Notice your thoughts, but don’t take them seriously. Tune into your higher self and listen to your inner voice. Hear spirit whisper to you that all is well and you are right where you’re supposed to be.
